As you can see from my signature, Sarah-Jane and Rose have been laying for AGES!

 

Donna, however, has not decided to join them, despite them all being the same age. She is 30 weeks old now!!! She's crouching of a fashion, and her appetite has gone crazy over the last week, but still no egg.

 

When do you reckon she'll lay one?

If she's crouching it surely can't be too long . Watch to see if she starts crouching properly then it should be within a week of that .

I would say in a week. If she's starting to crouch and eating loads it's got to be soon

I am pleased to report that Donna has laid her first egg today

 

I did the egg dance, although she hadn't half made a mess of the nesting box

 

Hers was the only egg today, but a surprising first egg at 55g.
