oggybags
Our Eglu is experiencing a severe downturn in the amount of droppings in the tray. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this and any possible solutions?? Maude is looking fine and behaving normally and still laying Gladys is losing feathers all over but still seems to be her usual perky self, except for no eggs. In the year we have had the girls we have had very few problems so any help wouldbe much appreciated Thanks
Chucky Mama
Ours free range until about 9pm in this weather and so we have very few droppings. Also strangely when ours are let out into the garden in the morning they poo straight away - maybe they are 'Elgu Trained'
Redwing
As they are spending so much time outdoors the Eglu will have a lot less poo in
Plum
Are they eating less of an evening. Or like mine doing a really large noxious poo when they first go out in the run in the morning

Hen Watch
In summer they go to bed later (mine are in bed at 9.15pm at present) and wake up early so much less time to poop overnight. Their droppings tray is fairly empty. But.... roll on deepest Winter when they are snuggled up at 4pm and up at 8am..... then the droppings tray doth overflow.... I was just thinking today actually what a shame yesterday was the longest day and now the nights are drawing in and the chickens will have less and less evening playtime.
