Helly Welly Posted June 17, 2009 Share Posted June 17, 2009 I suppose it depends on how much you notice the poo. Birds tend to poo a lot, full stop and chickens aren't exactly small birds. We tend not to take much notice of the poo. We have separate shoes for the back garden and we don't have a patio so we let the chickens go where they please. I can be seen, three times a day, using a dust pan and brush on my lawn The neighbours think I'm crackers, but I have to keep the poo down to stop the flies, and I love seeing my girls free ranging.
