kannie
Has anyone tried these? http://www.soothsoftshop.co.uk/index.php I have so many headaches that start in the night, and the last thing I want to do during the night is get up, go downstairs, and dig about in the freezer for my ice pack.... Sounds like this might be the answer.....
Cinnamon
Sounds interesting.... The thing I swear by & have by my bedside at all thimes is called 4HEAD & is a little stick that you rub into your head.It warms up & works without fail for me every time. You can get them in Boots,Tesco etc
kannie
Warms up?! I want something that cools me down! I got a 'cooling head stick' from Boots, but it didn't cool me at all! I do use Migraine Ice, which is sticky blue gel sheets, but apparently they've just been taken over by Migraine Kool'n'Soothe - an alternative product which is less good! Looney
Are you gritting your teeth in your sleep?.....sorry, you probably wouldn't know - as you're asleep at the time My mum kept suffering from headaches that started at night and found she was either gritting or grinding her teeth when asleep and this was the cause. The solution is apparently to wear a gum shield in bed - not a very attractive solution I admit

Mel (& Paul)
It ensured you dont stub your toe when you are kicking OH to get out of bed and refill the hot water bottle

My dentist did make me a gum shield once years ago, but it made no difference. Horrible thing to wear, so I was glad not to need to keep that up!
