redfrock
I know it sounds daft but I'm just wondering if chickens can get hiccups? Mine have been out all afternoon and for the last few hours Clem has had what can only be described as violent hiccups. She is running around and pecking/ eating / drinking fine but then she arches her neck and makes the most violent 'hicc....erp' noise. It is ever so loud. We've checked her throat and nothing appears to be stuck. Her comb & wattles are still bright red. I know it isn't gape worm because it came on so suddenly, and I only wormed them last week. She isn't doing it as frequently now - it was every couple of minutes but now it is every 10 minutes or so
Janty
Funny you should say that...Scary Spice is doing the same thing. None of the others are doing it. They are mid way through a course of flubenvet...I was wondering about a dose of panacur for her. Doesn't sound like a cough...as you say it's like hic ups.
