chickencam
Eggy is one of my original Omlet girls, she is a Pepperpot and up until now has been my favourite because she has bags of character, but she keeps coming up behind me and pecking me. She does not seem agressive, just as though she is trying to get a reaction. She started to do it when I was getting their corn and mealworm cocktail ready to put them away in the late afternoon, but now she does it when I am hanging washing out too I have tried putting my hand on her back after she does it to pretent I am cockerel or top chook, but this hasn't helped at all. Any ideas??? She is 2.5 years old.
Egluntyne
She is probably associating you with treats. Maybe you could have a signal such a s a special call, that you only use with food - if they don't hear it, they will learn that there are no treats coming. Either that or move your washing line.
