stoice
I planted out a courgette I'd raised from seed (Bit late, but was waiting for a space in smallish garden) when I took it out of it's pot it looked like something had laid eggs in the compost amoung it's roots. There was a void and two bundles of shiny white eggs were there. (I assume they are eggs) Each one about 3mm in size and totally round. Like small pearls. Any ideas what they are from? I scooped them out, so as not to 'plant' them in case they were a pest. Surely too big for slugs eggs. Any ideas? (Sorry I have no pics)
Egluntyne
If they looked hike the picture above, they are Snail's eggs.
