Ooh, sorry, I'm rubbish at links It's on the 28th, so this sunday, at Elvaston. There is a feather section, as well as other classes (horses, sheep, cattle etc) so I'm really looking forward to it

We went to this yesterday - got frazzled and have perma tan lines in the shape of a vest top to prove it!!

 

The show was good (although the entry fee of £9 was a little on the steep side in my opinion) and we managed to find the feather section after wandering around the various cows, goats and sheep.

 

There were lots of feathered friends in all sorts of colours and sizes - some vocal and some not so. I was staggered to find two tables full of cracked eggs with rosettes - I never would have thought that eggs could win prizes!! Apparently so

 

The highlight of my day has to be - A: the dancing diggers! and B - the double scoop of very naughty dairy ice-cream whicj cost a fortune but was worth every penny

Tip for next year - you can buy your tickets before you go for £6.50 per adult ! There was a list on the website of local shops etc.

I thought £9 was pretty steep too, but as we only wanted to see feather section we didn't bother in the end! Glad you had a nice day!
