house-elf Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 HI, One of my hens laid an egg 2 days ago, but since then nothing, and there hasn't been any nests made either. I have only had my hens for 5 days so I know I'm asking alot but I did think that once they started laying it would be all engines go ! Could putting a fake in the nests encourage them ??? Learning every day at the moment ! Still new to all this - I will keep checking, am thinking I might let them out the run today to explore, so maybe one of them will go off and lay somewhere - at the least it might cheer them up and make them lay !
