Tink
I originally posted this on the eglus for sale forum and 'jackiepoppies' thought it might be useful information to have on this forum too.... "Thought this might be of use to some of you if considering buying from ebay.... I recently saw a bargain on buy it now but it would have been an 8 hour round trip to pick it up. I found http://www.shiply.com. Great website - You put the details of the delivery needed on and couriers bid to get the work. I used a fantastic company called pronto and had an eglu delivered from London to Leeds for £46 (most other websites had quoted between £100-£200) within 2 days. Would highly recommend them if anyone needs anything delivering".
jackiepoppies
Following gbadleys advice, I contacted them via email because I want to get a sofa bed from Kent to France, It was easy to register and post my 'wanted add' and have had 3 very competitive bids so far. The 1st bid ran out of time , then they emailed me with a revised bid £15 lower Will give it another couple of days to see what might come in next Jx ps I believe other Omleteers have used this service satisfactorily. Happy-Mama
Sounds great, I normally don't bid on stuff that is pick up only as I can't get there.
