Got my first egg today after waiting a fair few weeks. The two girls are about 27 weeks old. Nipped home at lunch to check they had enough water and weren't roasting, and there inside the hen house was a little egg. By the time I got home from work and it looks like the other one had 'laid', though it was a soft shell and looked like two joined together, sort of like two sausages.
