welshnik
Hi Don't know what it's like with you other Omleteers but it's belting down here in my part of South Wales!!! My query is - are the chooks ok?? We have a and a run and a winter cover.... but are they ok in the rain? and like the Food Balll that you all suggested on one of my earlier posts, which is good - and Easter is now starting to steal stuff from our hands if we appear. She's even recognising the sound of the patio door and starts bok bokking at us and comes to see us. We were hoping to let them free range a bit today but as the weather is so awful, it's not a possibility!! and every day this week so far, girls doing well!! Sara-W
Hi I'm from South Wales too so loads of rain! I leave the run door open so that the chickens decide if they want to be out in the rain or under cover. They always choose to be out but if they get too wet they run undercover to dry off a bit before venturing out again! They dont seem to care if its raining or not and enjoy looking for more bugs under the hedge!! scrambledhead
Rain! Lucky you, no rain here for nearly 4 weeks! My chickens like me to water them with the watering can, I really hope no one has seen me doing this
