kazaddress Posted November 10, 2006 Author Share Posted November 10, 2006 not sure if it will help.. but rather then making loaves, I make pitta breads.. 1. because they last longer 2. because they are easier to make 3. because you can freeze them, and then defrost in the toaster 4. because I use the same dough to make pizza bases 500g bread flour 1 sachet fast action yeast 3tbls olive oil 1tbls sugar 1tsp salt 300ml hot / warm water Mix together, kneed for 5mins, cover in cling film, leave to rise till it doubles in size, pick off peaces and flatten into pitta shapes, leave for a further 10 mins, bake in a hot oven for 8-10 mins voila Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
