Anyone got a quick and easy recipe for rarebit? (sp)

do you mean welsh rarebit? the mustardy cheese on toast

 

I love that - I havent had it for ages.

 

I think mum used to mix cheese and mustard (english) add some worcester sauce and spread it on the toast. then grill it.

 

there are probably loads of variations of it

I make Welsh rarebit with grated cheese, lots of mustard powder some plain

flour and a tsp of milk to gloop it all together, grill and garnish with lots

of Worcestor sauce. Yum

I always cheat this one!

Mix together grated cheese tsp mustard, dash Wocester and an egg yolk per person, really stick together nicely and spread like a dream. Toast til going dark.

Thanks for all the replies, have just made Rhapsody's recipe (just because it used up some of my eggs!) and it was delicious!
