bexbex
I LOVE it.. I bough a 8kg tub from Flyte So Fancy (and just about everything else they have!! They do great starter cleaning kits!) I cleaned the girls out the other day and sprinkled some of the Stalosan F all over the wood chippings in the pen. Looks a little weird at first and wish I had known how powdery (if that's even a word!) it was as I got a face full of it when the wind blew hehe. It was good on the chickens but why I'm really singing it's praises are what it has done for the dog area!! We have a dalmatian "Ooops, word censored!" who has a fenced off area on slabs and the area can get smelly! Not from lack of cleaning but because "Ooops, word censored!" wee smells! I use jeyes fluid every day on there but doesn't;t seem to get rid of the ammonia smell. Today I was sorting a new home for the hen cleaning stuff and saw that Stalosan F is good for getting rid of such smells, and boy does it! I couldn't believe something which looks like brick dust can clean it up so well! I'd have never have even thought of something like that if hadn't got the chickens so thanks girls! haha I also love the Diatom Puffer Pack they have on there too for squeezing in the bedding as was a little unsure of how to put the tub of stuff in without ending up with little piles of the stuff. They have cost me so much more money then I thought they would! I have spent a fortune off that site and off the omlet site too (live mealworms and glug and grubs!) Just thought I'd share my experiences of this anyway, sorry if went on a bit! Becki x
bexbex
lol looks like I'm not supposed to say the word for female doggy so where it says "Ooops, word censored!" please read as girly hahaha
xScrunchee
LOL Never thought to try it in the yard where our girly dog does her business And yes-keeping chickens has worked out to be a very expensive hobby for me too. Even our food bill has gone through the roof since I have to get the girls their corn on the cobs, spinach, cabbages etc. One good thing however-I asked in a little shop around the corner the other day if I could buy their cabbages, lettuces etc when they are past their best (at a reduced rate ) and the man said that I could pop in twice a week and he would give me the bits for free Anything too 'past it's best' for the girls can always go in the wormery-so, win win situation there
