Rachel33pink Posted July 28, 2009 Share Posted July 28, 2009 We have had our 3 chooks for just over a year with no apparant evidence of a fox, to the extent that I let them out in to their run all day long. However, at 5 00 this morning I was woken by loud squawking and looked out to see a fox trying to get into the eglu. He ignored my hisses out of the window so I had to go out he disappeared quickly but the girls were very vocal in telling me how upset they were Now obviously I can't let them out unless I am out in the garden and they pace up and down their run looking very bored. I had made quite a big run at the back of the garden cos last year they made so much mess and kept escaping from the garden, but I think I will need to invest in a proper closed in run for them. Does anyone know of any good websites as I haven't come across any of a decent size and not sure I am up to building one! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
