I use a lot of gravity feeders for my chooks and found that in the night they all got out their tool kits and removed the nuts and bolts leaving the blooming feeders useless and me with a lot of green and red saucers

 

Obviously the chickens spirited away the nuts and bolts and sold them to s"Ooops, word censored!" metal dealers as no trace was ever found

 

Anyway I have cunningly thwarted them by replacing the missing nuts and bolts with cable ties! it works a treat and they can't remove them......although my pliers have gone missing.....

 

I thought this may help anyone else who is binning feeders each week

I have around five feeders dotted around the garden and only one has all it's nuts and bolts They wrecked the last but one feeder this week
