Scramble Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 Just wondering, if worms can somehow have an impact on egg production? Chickpea has just be laying yolks for about a month now, even after limesttone flour and zolcal D she's had a brief pick up of laying normal eggs and then back to yolks. I wondered if worms had something to do with it. Whatever it is, it only affects Chickpea, Yolko is laying normally. Any advice appreciated. They are competing with the chicken for the nutrition in the gut and also make the hens feel under par because they can cause a mild immune response. It might be worth giving a course of Flubenvet.
