Hi all just a quick question regarding the many and varied options of disinfecting coops, after a little research have come down to poultry shield or V18 Vanodine. Have to date been using jeyes (very carefully) on my fortnightly blitz of coop but want to remove any danger of harm to my chooks, especially in winter when it will be harder to dry thoroughly, all components before re assembly. The V18 Vanodine seems to be a little more heavy duty and wondered if anyone on here has experience with it, Regards Theresa x

I have no experience with Vanodine but I do use Poutry Shield.

My wooden ark gets a thorough soaking of PS every week. I use a pressure sprayer to get into every nook and cranny. I've had my ark for about 18 months now and so far there have been no signs of any red mites. :D
