The run extension arrived today and almost as if to say thank you... within one hour of it being erected CiCi laid / layed (which is correct?) her first egg!!

 

I have two laying now! Exciting stuff!

I read it in Chicken Runs and Vegetable Plots by Charlotte Popescu... it's available from the Omlet shop or Amazon etc... It's a nice little book.
