eggregiousness
My girls will be arriving late on Thursday night after a very long journey. Should I pop them into the vacant guinea pig cage for their first night where they can stock up on food and water, or should I put them straight out into their coop? Thanks - I'm going to be a neurotic chucken mummy!
Redwing
I guess it all depends on how late they arrive, if they have had a long journey presumably they will have been offered water on the way? If its dark when they arrive I would let them have a quick drink and bite to eat in the light of the kitchen/garage/utility etc then put them straight in the coop If its light when they arrive I would let them in their run to eat and drink as normal
Egluntyne
I wouldn't bother with the hutch at all. Tasha's suggestions are spot on.
