4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hi Guys, i know there has been several posts about Flubenvet but am still confused! Dont want to get it wrong for my girls. I have a tub of Flubenvet medicated premisture- 2.5%- it did not come with a scoop of any kind. How much do i need to use and with how much feed? My kitchen scales arent precise enough to mesure grams- wat can i do?

1/2 teaspoon of flubenvet to 2 kgs of pellets.

We had the same problem but decided on 1 x level teaspoon for three chickens, mixed in with a bowl of rice, every evening for a week.

 

Egg production was fine, the girls were fine

ok ive made up 2kg of food with 1/2 teaspoon of Flubenvet- doesnt seem much compare to the amout of food does it? oh well hopefully it'l do the trick. just got a broody RIR X to deal with now!

It doesn't seem much, but it depends on whether you are using the 1% or 2.5 % dose.

 

I use the 1/2 teaspoon method to 2 kgs pellets, with 2.5% mixture as it works out very expensive to use the 1% premixture.

Hi, I asked about this a while ago and was advised to cut a grape in two, dunk each half in some Flubenvet then you can individually feed each chook one half of grape/Flubenvet. Works for me
