got the run together finally- after lots of swearing and glares from the hubby about why they need such a huge run

it looks great! i will take some pics soon- promise :D

put the eglu in for now as cant wait until the cube comes

im at a bit of a miss about what to do about bedding/flooring now? always planned on putting some sort of horse bedding down, but after them being in there 6 hours i cant believe the amount of poo they have generated! and ive started to think that just having the slabs down would be a benifit as i can sweep it daily and powerwash it regulary. think the woodchips must have disguised alot of poo in the eglu run

how often would i need to top up the horse bedding of i poo picked daily? just thinking how expensive it would be- cant really afford a bale or so a week

thanks for your help x

I purchased two bales of Bliss about three months ago and I am just down to half way in the second bale :D

Like ANH I poo pick the obvious ones but most of it gets dried up and absorbed into the bedding.

My bantams are on woodchip and I agree it does hide a lot of poo.

(I have to say that i prefer Aubiose but this has gone up to £9.00 a bale locally so I will be trying bedmax next at £6.50 a bale)
