How do I put this.... since I posted about getting my new chooks and walk-in run (see: Whoo Hoo new chooks & walk-in run), OH has been so up his own vent about all the praise he received that he asks me on a daily basis whether there have been anymore posts So if anybody out there would like to send him a little message - saying anything - Oh how I'd laugh

the real point is... YOU asked for the chickens, YOU asked for the walk in run,

 

so therefore, surely, its just like staff doing their job

 

YOU are the one who should get the praise for wanting the chickens in the first place

i dont think that your chickens didnt like the colour i just think they are like most women and have to inspect what it is that the man has done in every detail before they decide it they like it.

 

and i think men are like cockerels and like to be reminded that dig up the best worms and build the best wir's.

does he do the dishes on a sunday after a roast? will swap you with mine for a while if you like?

I know OH's head will expand but more of the same and I should get the bathroom done and the shelves put up in the utility room

 

I have to say that although OH is not so great at doing the dishes (leaves them to dry out nicely!!), he is the one who does the Sunday roast

If there are additional jobs that need doing like the bathroom and shelves just post before pictures and then after pictures once your OH has done his thing

 

He can then have praise for a variety of jobs (If he wants praise for jobs and can travel to South Wales, I need my hall and landing painted, my kitchen painted...... my OH whilst wonderful doesn't do decorating )

Wow - I was pretty pleased with my OH's efforts - he'd built my 3 new girls a palace which we move about the garden - it is lovely - but looking at your walk in run has made me very jealous and thinking about what "persuasion" tactics I can get going. I'll show him pictures and see if a bit of "oneupmanship" might get him designing once again.

 

Bit like you - he's the IT eggspert too - so I'll have to wait a bit to put up pictures of the girls.

Please Eggy-Bready, could you kindly ask OH (the one so far up his own vent tee hee) that he obviously isnt appreciated & praised quite enough!!!! Obviously in need of some non stop flowing praise . . so please invite OHUHOV to temporarily satisfy his needs . . . please ask if he prefers crispy fluffy roast potatoes with roast parsnips, whether he prefers roast lamb & mint sauce or roast pork with crackling & apple,or even rib of beef & mustard .. . if he prefers a dessert? If he likes curries or traditional dinners, hot lunch or cold. Oh also if he likes a daily cooked breakfast or small courses. Whether he prefers an evening Pimms or Magners, Sherry of Lager etc. .. his remote control for tv & hifi on his left or right, his bath with bubbles or without .. You get the idea??!!

 

Please also advise OH, he may bring his OH who can readily assist the queueing harem to ensure every whim of his is fulfilled or surpassed !!

 

Er . .best also ask . . just how long does it take to build a run like that & if willing when do I ask my hubby & family to move out ?

I am a lucky lady and I do have lucky chooks. I will hang on to OH though 'cos he has undergone rather intensive hubby training and I'm not sure I have the inclination to go through all that again Mind you we could negotiate reasonable rates on a daily hire basis..............
