If you use tinned tomatoes - not sure if this is the right place to put this post but Asda have an offer on until 24th for 4 tins Napolina tomatoes large ones for £1.00 instead of 96p each! Its a bargain if you need them over the winter time.

I do! I use so many tins of Sainsburys basics range at 36p a tin. I sieve them for bolognaise, chilli etc and they are perfect. But I do like the Napolina ones and if we had an Asda near us, I would love to get some.

Yes used lots tinned toms just cheapy ones unless organic are on offer..I did try to freeze some in puree one year that I grew and got a tomato ketchup recipe..it was gross never again...labour intensive
