Does anyone know how much apple cider vinegar should be added to the drinking water.

I think the scientific measure is known as a slosh

 

seriously I guess I add about a teaspoon a pint but you'll find that many people dont measure it and just add a dash when filling up the water holder

about a tablespoon per couple of litres, its not an exact science

The chicken manuals will tell you 25ml per litre of water, A glug holds just over 4 litres.

 

We used to put less but our hens love it and snap at the bubbles when we are topping up!

I've read lots of different suggestions for this. My cider vinegar bottle suggests 5ml per litre for poultry. Elsewhere I've read 10ml (1%) per litre in several places, and now 25ml per litre. I'd second the suggestion that the dosing desn't have to be scientific!

 

I'm sticking with 1% as a happy mean (and it's cheaper!), and seeing how mine get on.
