Guys,

 

my ex-batt Ginger insists on pecking me!

 

Minor in itself but it hurts - she only seems to peck me, and has begun pecking my husband! Whioe strangers were caring for them while I was away, she did not peck them!

 

What is this - affection? Dominance?

 

Any thoughts?

 

Once it was amusing, now its turning into a pain, quite literally...

 

She also jumps onto my back if she is able. Quite a characterful chook all in all.

Do you wear shiny rings/bracelets/ect ?? my silkie tends to go for these and chickens are usually attracted to shiny things

 

It could be a dominance thing, or she may just think you are food
