dippy bird
well - could it have been any wetter? Started to rain on Thursday, just as we arrived and was still raining when we left this afternoon!!! Oh joy! And to make matters worse,my hitler style bro-in-law had both his bro's turn up who are both R.A.F pilots! Guess who had to go on a major walk in the welsh mountains? Yup - me!!! But on a plus side - we did go white water rafting today(in the rain) which was fabulous!! I totally recommend it! Never been before, was totally scared out of my wits, but now I want to go and do it again - but in bigger rapids!! How was everyone else's camping trips? Hen Watch
Got back from camping this afternoon. We went to a campsite 25 mins away from home...... for 3 nights. Although it was so close to home it felt like the middle of nowhere. Great. Down here in the SE weather has been lovely, apart from a 15 min downpour Friday that soaked all our clothes. Hens were happy to see us back home though.
C&T
We had a great time too!! Ate too much, had a couple of drinks ( ), and relaxed. Lovely!! Even found a couple of fossils on the beach Didn't have bad weather, until the Monday morning when was time to pack up But was hot by the time we got home, and got everything dried out in the garden and put away. And I guess that is the last camping trip of the year... Have learnt one thing though - chickens don't like tents and groundsheets blowing around the garden
PurpleTree
We got back yesterday. It was raining when we were trying to load the car on Friday, when we got there it was very muddy and squidgy. Had a dry day on Saturday. Sunday it didn't stop raining, had already arranged for my parents to come for a BBQ, which we still did in the rain. Still raining Monday morning so the tent is soaking, need to put it back up in the garden to dry out - just waiting for the weekend and hopefully some soon. Mutrix Farmers
We spent the weekend at Canterbury, only 1/2 hour from home but a well needed rest from OH and Son as they ahd a busy week last week. We went with some friends. Walked across the fields to a country pub for lunch on Saturday, BBQ on Sunday. Weather was fabulous all weekend. And we still have 2 more trips planned before the end of the year. I love my caravan
