Woodcat
Hey At the moment i've got three pekins. When i bought them the breeder was a little confused about ages so i've got one who has full wattles and comb and is crouching (very excited about that) One who is not that far behind her and one who still has a tiny comb and no wattles what so ever. I know that when the eldest is meant to go on layers however with the younger two not ready would it be better to keep them all on growers? I think the youngest is only a couple of weeks behind the eldest because it's only become obvious lately as there combs are growing Thanks Beth
tom123
I would start mixing now. do 90% growers 10% layers and so on. Good Luck Tom
ubereglu
Keep them on growers for the minute-this shouldn't do any harm to the bigger ones, just delay them slightly from laying. Then, as Tom has said, slowly mix the two feeds.
Woodcat
cool thanks thought it would be that but always worth double checking partiucally as i have to get another bag of growers it always works out that way
