bellekatz
Anyone bought a cube run support from Omlet by itself and have an idea how much it costs?? Will phone omlet on tuesday but just wondered if anyone had any ideas! We are finding it hard cleaning the cube run with two extensions on so would like to velcro tie the extensions to the exisiting run so we can save fingers when splitting in half for access - thought it may be better to put a support at the end of the original run to help it keep its shape. Plum
In nov 98 mine was about £19 for the support. Don't damage your fingers use a tool to open the clips. I open mine in a flash every day. I use the handle of a plastic s"Ooops, word censored!"er few pence from wilko and the clips haven't weakened at all, plus it's more secure than velcro. Sometimes I take the end panel off altogether when I want to give it a really good clean out.
The Dogmother
Jayne, do you have the new, bigger run door for the cube run? That makes it far easier to clean and to get inside. I think mine was about £40 when I got it.
bellekatz
Yes I have do have the bigger doo,r but it is hard on the back when there is cube +3 meters to clean so thought that we could just unclip the run at the end of 1 m from the cube and lift the end 2 m clear to make life easier. (as OH is already complaining ) Knowing how fidly the run clips are we thought of velcro cable ties and it will have the cover over the top as well. It may be that I don't need to support the end of the first meter, we will see...........
The Dogmother
I found velcro cable ties even more fiddly than the clips, so opted for the bigger door.
