Today I decided to learn crochet. I've managed to do a couple of starting chains and managed to get a second row done too, but then it all went a little cockeyed Does anyone know of any online Tutes please? I've found a couple but I can't quite work them out

 

Better still is there anyone who can crochet who is near enough that I can descend upon them, hook and wool in hand for a bit of one to one help (I will bring cakes )

oh it's a bit far. If you have a caravan, we could arrange a camping crochet meet up somewhere halfway- that would be fun & comical.

I aim to have a tent very soon ( at DH on that point) so maybe a camping and crochet meet

I think http://www.simplyknitting.co.uk/resources/simplyknitting/SKMcrochet.pdf is the tutorial I used. YouTube'd prob have something better. It's prob just a case of working out where your first and last stitch of each row should go.

 

I'm no expert but you're welcome to descend upon my place of a weekend (any excuse for more craftage) if some Clever People aren't nearer
