They'll jump over anything you put in up to a few feet tall. Palmer07 and Tasha are right, at 3 weeks old the chicks will be a lot bigger than day olds, it can be risky adding more after just a week.

 

1 day introduction isn't enough, not for adult birds either, 2 months later they may be living together, but they will be at a bit more of a similar size by then as they'll have all had a chance to grow.

 

I know you said you've read a lot, but I think Tasha is right, Katie Thear's book would be a good one for you to read

 

Sorry if I sound a bit hard on you, but it would be a shame for you to hatch some chicks and then them get bullied and injured by your others .

If you really want some other chicks, then could you try ang get some chicks from a breeder that are a few days old, then introduce those slowly to your 3 .

Decided to buy some more polish frizzles - gold laced and chamois Will put them in a seperate brooder, then at a few days old see if they get along with the others if not its no problem...they got a whole other crate to themselves
