hello what is a good treat for chickens?

You really are a glutton for punishment arnt you? First pictures now treats, you really know how to get us going dont you

Ok my girls favourites (in no particular order )

corn on the cob

sweetcorn

corn

mealworms

grapes

spaghetti

cabbage

I could go on, and on, and on, and on....... you get the picture, but Im sure others have their favourites too.

 

Ooo, nearly forgot to say, only give them a little bit about teatime or before bed as you really need them to eat their layers pellets mostly, or they'll just eat all the treats, get fat and stop laying,

Mine have also stolen the childrens crisps, pepperami, peanut butter sandwich, ham sandwich, jelly tots, and biscuits.

 

The children have learned to eat indoors now or in the playhouse

 

My Sister (17 years old so not a baby) was eating a packet of crisps the other day while sitting on the grass and Jasmine was trying to steal them so my sister held the packet away from Jasmine and Jasmine decided to go for the crisp that was in my sisters mouth

She got it though and left my sister with a bleeding swollen lip

 

My sister no longer sits on the floor whilst eating in the garden
