Eggquisite
Hi, Does anyone know if we would be able to keep Orp Large Fowl in an Eglu I have a feeling it may be a tight squeeze?
louise1976
I've got three orps in an eglu and there is plenty of room for them, wouldn't put any more in though.
Falkor
I started with my three LF Orps in a but upgraded to the with a WIR. There was space in the Elgu and Omlet did tell me before I purchased the eglu that they would be fine but as Gin grew she was having to stoop a bit to manouver inside the eglu. Plus although they are mosting feather they looked like they were squished in the run. Brandy, my "baby" buff orp, 6 months and still growing, has been in and out of the bantams a couple of times but her body/feathers touch both sides of the door
Phosphorus
Was interested to read this post. I currently have two LF brahma girls and an LF araucana (hopefully girl!) sharing an eglu. Did wonder how much longer the brahmas could fit They so want to join my other girls (they are as big as they are now even though brahmas are only 18 weeks) in the Cube - not sure I can let them yet as trying to keep them on growers pellets

Egluntyne
I've just had some hens holidaying with me - an Orp, a Brahma, a Light Sussex and a Poland and they all fitted into the Eglu quite happily.
