curly tail feathers

Recommended Posts

Daisy might be a Donald  - curly tail feathers are usually a sign of the drake.

The drake would have quite different feathering by now though so you would know whether she is a she or not

I can't tell whether the ducks have curly tail feathers as well - we only have Campbells.

Daisy where she wants to go if he does not follow she quacks and nips him till he gives in,

if she is not ready for bed he is not aloud to go. he is quite tame and runs to me pore lad i think he has got the pecking order wrong

My two were like that when I first got them... although they sorted it out after a couple of weeks - Gerald is now firmly in charge.... unless Alice REALLY wants to do something... in which case Gerald will do anything for a quiet life.

Wow - I think they've been listening through the cat flap... that's just how it works with dear sister and I (sharing a house... we must be mad!).

... you can see Gerald's (originally Geraldine... we've all done it!)

We've done exactly the same! Was a Geraldine, now a Gerald! ... must be something in the name!

Gerald is definately a Gerald now, messy tail grew then turned curly and he's also bigger than Jemima.

They were bought as 2 girls as a surprise for me, and straight away I thought she was a he - "No, the breeder said she sexes them at birth and can remember who is who"

Father still wants to take him back ... I've won this far
