annieblue Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Another normal size egg this morning I expect that the supply will reduce once they get over the shock of the last few days but it was lovely to see it there! The eglu is great, very practical but I wish it was just a few inches higher so I could get in and out without having to limbo dance. Chicken Shirl Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Talking of finding eggs, I fed my chooks this morning and went to get a new box of dried meal worms down off a cupboard in the utility room and two eggs fell on my head. Tufty loves to go up high to lay her eggs, and I new she must have layed some where over the last two days, but I didn't expect to have an egg shampoo this morning. JS1 Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Its so exciting isnt it I scrambled our 1st egg and me, my OH and my YD and the nextdoor neighbour all had a bit I fried ours and shared it between me, my husband and the dog (although the dog just got a tiny bit!).
