Going to look at some hens on sat just wondering if anyone had got any from here before and if they have have any problems?

 

i'm sure they will be ok but always nice to check first.

 

thinking of white sussex and domino ranger.

No, but the owner has children at my DS's school and the Mum of one of DS's friends has been there, though, and said the chooks all look great and she is planning to get her next batch of chooks from there.

 

Would love to know what you think.

 

PS You have seen that the road is closed at the moment haven't you? I had to drive all round the houses when I needed to go to Morrison's the other day (I go down that road to get to it) and it was a right pain. I presume you can access Newland Grange from the Worcester to Malvern Road but not the Worcester to Hereford Road.

I fancy those Malvern Blues. They look like they have cute little topknots! I'd love a blue egg layer (or two), but we are not set up to introduce new hens yet so will have to wait...

Yes it was a lovely place i was very jealous and wanted to take all 150 chickens home with me

 

they were very helpful and gave me some really good tips on handling and care i have only had hens since april this year so i needed some extra advice as i always worry too much about them

If you couldn't take all 150, how many did you squeeze in? 75??
