4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Thanks for everyones advice yesterday. I had to place a rather reluctant hen in the coop last night, and was awake all night worrying , however today judy my RIR has stopped chasing the newcomer and they are all now scratching around together. The new girl Lisa (leghorn) has no signs of being attacked by judy so fingers crossed this will continue.!

My next mission is to stop them sleeping in the nesting boxes - but one thing at a time!

You could try putting a football into the nest box at night to stop them sleeping there

Mine slept in there most of last winter but when it began to get warmer moved out themselves so they may do it for you.
