brambles Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 My Rasputia (partridge cochin) is 16 weeks old now. She and Tiggy (legbar) are still making chick noises and are not clucking yet. Rasputia also makes a noise like a party blower, particularly when upset or excited. She doesn't do any neck stretching... When do they start bokking? Could Rasputia be a Norbit? House MD 221B Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 This may not be relevant at ALL, BUT, do some chickens make different noises from others, even the same breeds? The only reason I ask is I've had cats all my life, and one cat "Fudge", used to "Quack", not Meow, nor chirp, but Quack, sort of a "Mwak" sound.
