I have got pots in the veg patch of varrying sizes with rooted runners in. the grow bag was in the greenhouse since spring when Monty Don said to take them in. but what do I do with trhen now. leave them out till spring & repot? repot now? hoping someone will guide me.(they are the 30 or is it 60 day strawberries. bought last year at hampton ct FS) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But from advice I was given a month of so ago, I would repot any runners now & cut back any plants to an inch or so. I've also been told strawberries only last 3 years then need replacing. Christian Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 You can leave the leaves on until the first frosts and then cut them back. I usually cut them back in November.
