luckyhen Posted October 17, 2009 Share Posted October 17, 2009 I have had my 4 chickens for about one month and they were about 18 weeks when I got them. I was getting 2-3 eggs a day and then about 2 weeks ago all egg laying stopped totally overnight. One of them is moulting but otherwise they all look hale and hearty. Any ideas?? In my limited experience, a pullet coming into lay at this time of year generally continues laying right through and doesn't moult until the following late summer/autumn. Might be worth worming them and confining them to the run, with only good quality pellets and water for a few days. Might just kick start them.
