beckyfitz
(First, my excitingnews that my ducks laid their first egg today yippee!) I want to send some of my chook eggs to a friend, & I know eggs can be packaged in polystyrene as we have rec'd them like this for hatching before - does anyone know where I can get 'postal' safe packaging for eggs? Thanks, Becky xx

jimnpaula
Hi, I didn't find anything when I searched on polyboxes in ebay, but if you just put in polystyrene egg boxes..... P

Jools
I know you're not supposed to re-use them for hygiene reasons, but I have a couple stashed in the back of a cupboard somewhere from eggs I've bought in the past couple of years. You're welcome to them for the cost of the postage. I think I have a couple for large fowl eggs and one or possibly two for bantam eggs.
