I've just been speaking to someone at Saga about my car insurance and was told that Saga recently bought the AA - I hadn't heard that!

Now you will run off for the new credit card, holidays and apparently they do savings accounts (assuming that the animals haven't eaten all your hard earned cash! ). There's a lot of sneaky buying up of things that we never get to hear about.

We have that problem, for a whole 3 weeks I could go on a Club 18-30 holiday & DH could go on a Saga break.....strangely enough neither of us did

I'm just happy that I managed to hold Saga to their Price Guarantee and saved about £70 on their own renewal (I hate this system - they obviously hike the renewal quotes up so that they make money out of anyone who doesn't have the time to make comparisons ) I only just made it before November 1st.

Yes, you have to have your wits about you. I insure my car with Swift and their renewal was twice the price of the cheapest I found online. They phoned to ask why I wasn't re-insuring with them but matched the cheaper quote in the end

I wasn't either - I was most put out that comparisons last year showed that it was the cheapest option I really wanted it to be Sheila's Wheels - it's so PINK!!

 

The worst thing is all those envelopes with the Saga logo which plop through the letterbox

When a good friend of my Mum & Dad was due to turn 50, six months ahead of my mum she got hold of some Saga holiday info & wrapped it up for his birthday with his proper pressie
