How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

i wormed my girls with flubenvet 3 months ago and they all started pulling each others feathers out. poor scarlet and ebony still haven't grown them back yet i thought it was just a coincidence that it started when i wormed them but i'm worming this week and they're doing it again they're not pecking and drawing blood but just pulling feathers out around the vent, back and legs. they all look so scraggly . i'm going to spray them all with ukadex tomorrow but wondered if it could be something to do with being wormed.

Worming shouldn't have any bearing on this unless they were under the weather before worming and now feel well enough to pull each others feathers out

i think it's just coincidence. i've sprayed them all with ukadex which stopped them yesterday but they're having a sneaky peck at each other every now and then. they're not causing any damage to the skin but poor ebony has a bald back again and her feathers were starting to come through i'm hoping they'll stop because i don't want to have to put bumper bits on them but i think i might have to just so their feathers can grow back.

I've never heard of this either, but I'd fit them with bits to break the habit.

well worming's finished and they've calmed down again i think i'll put the bits on at the weekend when dh can help me. my poor girls look so tatty and they need to be given a chance for the new feathers to grow. how long do you leave the bits on, or do they just fall off after a while
