is this coincidence?

Recommended Posts

i wormed my girls with flubenvet 3 months ago and they all started pulling each others feathers out. poor scarlet and ebony still haven't grown them back yet :( i thought it was just a coincidence that it started when i wormed them but i'm worming this week and they're doing it again :!: they're not pecking and drawing blood but just pulling feathers out around the vent, back and legs. they all look so scraggly . i'm going to spray them all with ukadex tomorrow but wondered if it could be something to do with being wormed.

 i think it's just coincidence. i've sprayed them all with ukadex which stopped them yesterday but they're having a sneaky peck at each other every now and then. they're not causing any damage to the skin but poor ebony has a bald back again and her feathers were starting to come through :( i'm hoping they'll stop because i don't want to have to put bumper bits on them but i think i might have to just so their feathers can grow back.

well worming's finished and they've calmed down again :!: i think i'll put the bits on at the weekend when dh can help me. my poor girls look so tatty and they need to be given a chance for the new feathers to grow. how long do you leave the bits on, or do they just fall off after a while :?:
