well folks,after being out all day I have come home to find that my OH has put all of the girls together in the same run and moved the ex bats coop in as well (he's even cleaned both coops out for me!). No major fighting going on, just the odd peck here and there.

I'm just waiting to see which coop they all decide to sleep in.

We were letting them free range together most afternoons this week and after the initial fighting,it settled down to just the odd peck - mainly off Rita. They have all put themselves to bed now - and in the right coops! They are clever girls.

Well done. I've been letting my three and the ex batts have about half an hour free ranging for the last few days. The ex batts seem to be getting less pecky, its moe chasing now so looking good. Having said that my three run back into thier run as soon as an ex batt looks at them. Wussies.
