My cats keeps roosting!

Recommended Posts

Yes "House MD 221B", Garfield first has a drink on entering the (pink eglu) run, then he investigates the nesting area, then he has to have a little rest as moving so far is too much effort  On his way out though he trys out the pellets :o He is the most greedy cat and gets confused rather easily too

The cat inspecting the egg is Twinkle who likes to follow the chickens about, and she is mainly interested in what on earth Garfield is doing with all this new found activity. Im hoping that having chickens will help him become more active as he is overweight weighing in at just over a stone :o

Miss Money Penny was rescued last year and likes to sleep inside somewhere quiet. She lived on the streets before we had her last nov, and was in a terrible state when we got her. :boohoo: she isnt keen on going outdoors, no surprise.

Hi jackthelad, i got my chickens on 22nd oct 09, and i wasnt going to introduce my cats until i got our lab Hoover used to them first  and until they were used to free ranging in our garden. The only prob was that one of the kids left the door open in all the excitement & that was that :o We were a little anxious as to how Garfield would react, as with any new cat we have had he, well, how shall i put this  starts to become very loving  if you get my drift :!: He tryed being loving to the chickens but they soon saw him off  But now he insists on roosting, which is a better compromise :D

Your cats look beautiful, and so do your chickens.
