Guest
How do I do them on the Aga? Do I do them on top or in the simmering oven - I've seen conflicting advice online and I want some to decorate my Christmas hampers.
Blackrocksrock
I would think in a slow oven and then switched off and left overnight they should dry
Karen & co.
I make them each year for the tree, and after slicing the oranges, pop them onto a cooling rack and place that on the top of the AGA hot plate covers, with a piece of kitchen paper unerneath to stop it scratching the chrome Leave them a few hours and turn them over You can do them in the oven but then you don't get the lovely orangy smell in the kitchen Karen x
Sunshine
Ok silly question coming up-what sort of oranges should be used? Does it matter? I think i'll try making some of these this year, didn't know they were that easy!

Great they are easy aren't they? yep the cheapest you can find work just fine, the lady on the market last year was completely bemused when I told her what I wanted them for karen x
