Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Since loosing Louis to a blatant day time fox attack last week I can now only allow the girls to free range for an hour or two a day, while I have the back door open & potter in the kitchen.

So, do they relish their freedom & scratch all over the garden?

No, they spend it in the kitchen with me - perching at the sink while I wash up or collecting missed crumbs from the floor!

mine are the same let them out while there still a bit of light left when i get home from work so they can go worm hunting all they do is charge or fly the full length of the garden straight in to the kitchen

They love houses! I cought the late snowball in my boys room UPSTAIRS!! They mostly come in for all the crumbs and DOG FOOD BOWL!! mine are all clipped so find it hard to get upto the worktops!

Mine usually enjoy popping in for a visit and leaving their calling card just after I've mopped the floor.

We've developed a special way of getting out of the back door involving a narrow opening and foot first to avoid a flappy and excited trio getting in!
