zmurffi
Weather was not nice today here on Norfolk coast so didn't let the hens out to free range this morning, thought they would be better off in the run. Later this afternoon I thought I would go and fill up their feeder and change their water so I undid the gate on the Eglu run, took out the feeder and rested the gate closed without locking it up. I filled up the feeder in the shed, came out and there behind me was Kebab. The clever girl had pushed the gate open enough to squeeze out, I had to let the other two out then to join her. Very clever creatures - I could just imagine them "go on Kebab you do it - open the gate and get out then she'll have to let us all out ha ha ha bok bok bok"

Even the DH has said so - so if he's noticed it must be true.
sarahphe
lol theyre not daft! however saying that we had a 2 ft high fence and myrtle never jumped over it now that we've got a 4ft fence she's decided she can jump over (figure out the logic in that!) so does regularly (10-15 times a day!!) but aslast she has figured out how to get back over so that mad dash to get home before it gets dark isnt a problem anymore!!
