The Dogmother
The business with her crop doesn't sound right. I'd recommend syringing in some water with Avipro in it and taking her to the vet. Without seeing her myself, it's hard to say.

Chicken Licken
My speckledy is also moulting - silly hen. She has been like a pillow explosion and is now very off colour and not wanting to eat much. I am having to feed her seperately to Barry (my other girl) and she is totally disinterested in chicken food. Her wattles seem to have shrunk and she is very off colour. Today she has been a bit chirpier and has eaten some warm raisins, mealworms and sweetcorn and a little bit of porrige. Not helped by her absolute disgust at snow and refusal to leave the run or be picked up! I am hoping this will be enough to see her through and she will perk up soon (fingers crossed)
Egluntyne
Sounds as if she has got a sour crop. Ditto re the vet.
